Message from the Club Secretary:
 The Margarita Machine will make an appearance at Newport Dunes for Cinco de Mayo. Donations will gladly be accepted in hopes of endless margaritas and festive fun.

 - Attendance Record:  There is a link on the right side of the of the page towards the top of the attendance record screen that will allow you to link to the previous years. It is important that you double check your attendance since the WM PQ list is based upon it.

APRIL 2008 CAMPOUT HIGHLIGHTS

WAGON MASTER REPORT:

The April camp out was held at Butterfield Ranch near Julian. The weather was in our favor with some winds in the morning and then the afternoons were great. There was a traditional Easter egg hunt with all the children participating. Then it was on to the adults out there trying to find all the eggs that had been hidden for them. The rush was on with everyone finding the hidden treasures.
A thank you to Lois and Roberta for helping to furnish eggs.

The Easter bonnet contest was without a doubt won by Peggy with her original bonnet. The washer game was won by John D with Don E a close second. Dinner was great, a big thank you to all the ladies (and gentlemen) that furnished all the delicious food. John D was the only member with a birthday and he was sung to multiple times. Thanks to all of you that helped out, moving tables, setting up the washer game, doing the 50/50, and all the other things that I have forgotten. A welcome to our new members, Ron, Rene and Payton from Corona.

A special thanks to all the parents for making the kids campout a great one. There was plenty of kid things to do. Again, thank you parents for all pitching in... it's no fun getting stuck watching everyone's kids. Although the club is not specifically kids focused, it does have events which centers some of it's time and events around them. The only way this can continue to be a success is with your participation. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS IN ADVANCE. 

Please be sure to include your children and grand-children in your Circle City Campers planning. The club has a full range of ages that make camping a family affair.


 

MAY 2008 CAMPOUT
CUT-OFF Date Reminder

The cut-off date for the May 16-18, 2008 Newport Dunes campout is Sunday April 27 ,2008. Please respect the cut-off date as noted and please notify us if you have a change to your reservation. Upon receipt, we will reply to your email request ASAP. The wagon master, club officers, and you will be notified of the completed changes within 72 hours.
 

REMEMBER: You are going to get charged for the number of days your name appears on the WM list and the club is charged if you do not cancel by midnight Sunday April 27, 2008.
