The April camp out was held at Butterfield Ranch
near Julian. The weather was in our favor with
some winds in the morning and then the
afternoons were great. There was a traditional
Easter egg hunt with all the children
participating. Then it was on to the adults out
there trying to find all the eggs that had been
hidden for them. The rush was on with everyone
finding the hidden treasures.
A thank you to Lois and Roberta for helping to
furnish eggs.
The Easter bonnet contest was without a doubt
won by Peggy with her original bonnet. The
washer game was won by John D with Don E a close
second. Dinner was great, a big thank you to all
the ladies (and gentlemen) that furnished all
the delicious food. John D was the only member
with a birthday and he was sung to multiple
times. Thanks to all of you that helped out,
moving tables, setting up the washer game, doing
the 50/50, and all the other things that I have
forgotten. A welcome to our new members, Ron,
Rene and Payton from Corona.
