club campout.\u00a0\u00a0(10\/13\/2007)<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">D) Payment Methods:<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">i) All checks and cashiers checks to be made payable to Circle City Campers.( 01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">ii) Cash(01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E) Children under the age of 12 will not manage the collection of money in support of the weekend activities.(01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>2) Officer Duties, Responsibilities, and Activities Description<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) President: Refer to President Job Description. (06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E) Booking Secretary: Refer to Booking Secretary Job Description.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>3) Campground Locations<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) To be within a reasonable distance from the intersection of the 91 freeway and the 15 freeway intersection (near Corona, CA).(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">B) Campouts will be planed for each month of the calendar year, January through December.(01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>4) Cancellations:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) Anyonecanceling a campsite reservation after the cut-off date specified on the Wagon Master (WM) list must pay the camping fees shown on the WM list for that campout within 14 days (the first day starts the Monday after the campout weekend). If payment is not received by the 14th day, the member will be removed from all future WM lists, (those that are not currently past the cut-off date). After payment is received and recorded by the treasurer, the member will be notified that they are eligible to request a future campout reservation. If the amount is not paid within 60 days of the missed campout, the club may cancel the membership in accordance with Section 1(B) (ii).(rev. 10\/09\/2010)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>5) Election of Officers:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) All officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Booking Secretary) will be elected subject to their specific job description at the November campout and will begin their term of office on January 1.(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">B) The term of each elected office will be for one (1) year beginning January 1 and ending December 31.(rev. 01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">C) At the September meeting, the membership will appoint a\u00a0nominating committee. \u00a0It will consist of 3 active members who will\u00a0make club officer recommendations for the November election.\u00a0 These recommendations will be presented at the October meeting and placed on the November ballot.\u00a0 Officer nominations may also be\u00a0made by the membership\u00a0from the floor at the October meeting.\u00a0 These will also\u00a0be placed on the November ballot.\u00a0 No additional nominations for club officers will be accepted after the close of nominations at the October campout. The candidates nominated\u00a0will\u00a0be listed in the minutes\u00a0of the October meeting and the membership notified.(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">D) There is no limitation on the number of consecutive years a member may hold an elected office. However, the member must be elected to serve each time at the end of the office term.(rev. 01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E) To be elected to office the member candidate must receive a majority vote of the ballots cast by the membership and counted at the November meeting.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">F)All active members count as one vote eachas listed on the membership list and may vote for each elected office one time.\u00a0They may cast their vote\u00a0by absentee ballot prior to the November campout cut-off date\u00a0and submit it\u00a0to the Secretary\u00a0or in person at\u00a0the November meeting.\u00a0(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>6) General:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) The Saturday morning CCC business meeting must be conducted by an officer with a quorum of officers being present.(rev. 08\/13\/2011)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">B) Children 12 and older may participate in &#8216;adult&#8217; games played throughout the day.(01\/14\/2004)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">C) A change to one paragraph of the bylaws (called an amendment) may be done at a single monthly club meeting by majority vote of the quorum.(rev.06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">i) Majority vote is defined as more than 50% of the active voting members attending &#8220;that campout meeting&#8221; and must include two (2) officers.(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">ii) Quorum: The club defines a quorum as a minimum two-thirds (2\/3) of the active voting members attending &#8220;that campout meeting&#8221; and must include two (2) officers.(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">D) The addition of a non-existent paragraph, provided it does not change or alter the original intent of that paragraph, may be added at a single monthly club meeting by majority vote of the quorum. \u00a0(rev.06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">i) If a member objects to the addition of a non-existent paragraph, then it shall be called a revision and requires the change(s) be presented at three (3) consecutive club meetings before the revision can be voted on and then a two-thirds (2\/3) vote of the quorum is required to revise the bylaws at the third (3rd) club meeting.\u00a0(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E) A change to more than one paragraph and\/or a major portion of the bylaws (called a revision) at one time, requires that the revision be presented at three (3) consecutive club meetings before the changes can be voted on and then a two-thirds (2\/3) vote of the quorum is required to revise the bylaws at the third (3rd) club meeting.\u00a0This will allow ample time for the club members to review and discuss the proposed changes.(rev.06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">F) Circle City Campers, a family camping club, will not allow, tolerate or condone any type of illegal and\/or criminal activity and\/or conduct that is deemed detrimental to the well being of the club as determined by the majority of the membership. Any member and\/or non-member involved in such activity and\/or conduct will be asked to stop such actions and leave the campground immediately by the club officers. If the member and\/or non-member does not immediately comply with the club officers request, the proper authority will be called and\/or summoned.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">G) Members may volunteer for available wagon master months subject to the wagon master description. If two or more members select the same month the officers will have the option to arbitrate who will be selected.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">H) The natural progression of club officers present will assume wagon master responsibilities if the assigned Wagon Master CANNOT attend the weekend.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I) Credit for member attendance at the club campout is defined as the (1) attendance of the member whose name appears on the wagon master list when the fees are settled with the RV park; (2) a rig occupies a club designated site for the member whose name appears on the wagon master list; and (3) the camping fees are paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the club by-laws and RV park rules for that member whose name appears on the wagon master list.(rev. 06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">J) The wagon master list will be based upon the attendance record of the membership (subject to item I) and compiled in advance of the proposed campout. Pre-qualified members will have attended 6 of the 13 campouts during the specified qualification period. Qualification periods for each month are based upon the preceding campout months as demonstrated in the example below.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">EXAMPLE:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">January 2022 (August 2020-2021); February 2022 (September\u00a02020-2021); March 2022 (October\u00a02020-2021); April 2022 (November\u00a02020-2021); May 2022 (December\u00a02020-2021); June 2022 (January 2021-2022); July 2022 (February\u00a02021-2022); August 2022 (March\u00a02021-2022; September 2022 (April\u00a02021-2022); October 2022 (May 22021-2022); November 2022 (June\u00a02021-2022; December 2022 (July\u00a02021-2022). (rev. 03\/21\/2022)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">EXAMPLE SCENARIO: June 2022 wagon master list pre-qualified members will have attended 6 of the 13 campouts during the qualification period of\u00a0January 2021-2022. November 2022 wagon master list pre-qualified members will have attended 6 of the 13 campouts during the qualification period of\u00a0June 2021-2022. (rev. 03\/21\/2022)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>7) New Members:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) Prospective member(s) MUST attend one outing as a guest.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">B) Prospective member(s) MUST complete a new member application at the campout and submit the application to the club officers for review.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">C) The President or Vice-President will review the new member(s) application with 2 or more club officers for approval and meet with the guests at the campout to review their application.\u00a0(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">D) The club officers will accept or reject the application prior to the next club campout.(06\/10\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">E) If the prospective member(s) is approved, the new member must pay the club dues and floating deposit in accordance with Section 1 at the time of approval.(10\/13\/07)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>8<\/strong><strong>) Guests:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A) A guest will be invoiced $225 dollars in advance by the club for a requested campout prior to placement on the WM waiting list. Upon receipt of the guest deposit, the guest will be placed on the WM waiting list, notified via e-mail of their status, and the $225 payment will be sent to the club Treasurer and noted on that specific WM list as payment received. If the guest is moved to the WM active list, and they attend the requested campout, they will be required to pay for that weekend\u2019s camping fees.(rev. 12\/08\/2018)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">B) If the guest does not become a member, the club Treasurer will refund the guest deposit minus any fees due the club and no further obligation is due the club or the guest.(10\/13\/2007)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">C) If a guest cancels their active reservation after the WM list cut-off date they will be subject to the cancellation fees as described in Section 4. The guest will be re-invoiced to make the difference charged so that the original $225 guest deposit remains on file until another campout.
